- This paper is a critical evaluation of what the next steps of Western Civilization will have to look like if we are to keep peace and order. Thiel (being a libertarian) reluctantly argues that after 9/11 "democracy and freedom are no longer compatible." While an extremely controversial piece, this paper confronts a question that will need to be answered over the following decades whether we like it or not.
- This paper provides a very optimistic view for the future of the United States. There are many lenses to choose from in the AI revolution and I think an optimistic industrialist's view won't leave them regretting their idealogy in the near future.
- This paper became the foundation of my investing/wealth management philosophy. Introduced to me by Ben Felix, I immediately repositioned my humble savings after reading this paper and listening to the audiobook The Simple Path to Wealth by J.L. Collins.
- While I admittedly haven't finished this paper, it has been particularly eye-opening for me in the way of possibilities that we have to improving workflows and progressing as human beings. We should always take opportunities to expand our imaginations and this piece certainly did that for me.
